Creating Your Account

Getting started with Petfolio is quick and easy. Follow these steps to create your account and start tracking your pet's life.

Sign Up Options

You can create a Petfolio account using:

• Email and password - Create a new account with your email address
• Google Sign-In - Use your existing Google account for quick access

Creating an Account with Email

1. Visit the Petfolio homepage and click Get Started
2. Enter your email address and create a secure password
3. Check your email for a verification link
4. Click the link to verify your email address
5. You're ready to add your first pet!

Using Google Sign-In

1. Click Get Started on the homepage
2. Select Continue with Google
3. Choose your Google account
4. Grant Petfolio permission to access your basic profile
5. Start adding your pets right away!

Setting Up Your Profile

After creating your account, you can personalize your profile:

• Add your name and profile photo
• Set your preferred weight unit (lbs or kg)
• Add your phone number for emergency card features

Next Steps

Once your account is set up, you're ready to:

• Add your first pet through the onboarding wizard
• Upload photos and create memories
• Set up health tracking for medications and vet visits
• Create shareable profiles for pet sitters

Tip: Take your time during pet onboarding to add all the important details. You can always edit this information later!
